Mmmkay, so just an FYI: “Action” in the Poppy Razzi collection dries to a matte finish and definitely has a thicker, “globby” consistency compared to other Essie polishes. Still a pretty shade, but I’m annoyed.
I was just ranting about this to a friend over the weekend.
At the time, I was on the verge of drafting a sternly-worded email about the quality, but a) I was a little bit tipsy, b) I’m too lazy for that sort of follow through, and c) part of my job involves having to read inconsequential rants like that and I just don’t feel like being on that side of the equation.
Is it the whole collection? Because I have “Camera” and I couldn’t be more disappointed. It takes forever to dry, and is the sort of hot pink that only looks pink if you layer it over a white base coat (which means you’re looking at 5 coats minumum, including base/top coats_.
Otherwise it looks exactly like “Olé Caliente”, which is a far superior colour because it actually dries to a creamy finish.
I don’t care that it’s matte, I just wish the formulation was better overall.
Trends I can get behind: Fingerless gloves with matching nail polishes. Purportedly, it’s to show off your mani, but realistically it’s also just handy to be able to use your capacitative touchscreen phone.
