I’m really feeling the pull on Chucks that are part of Japan’s Spring/Summer ‘10 Converse line.
DVS’s capsule program with HUF is one of my all-time favourite shoe collabs. I’ve got a pair of Huf 4 Runners that I run in, fancy that, and a pair of HUF 5 Mids that I got from the Supra Distribution rep when I still worked as a retail buyer.
The two companies are back at it in 2010 with another set of sneakers. Featured are both the HUF Throwback Mid and HUF 5 runner, each a widely popular model within the DVS roster. Both feature a back to basics tonal colorway pairing premium leather and suede.
These should be hitting DVS accounts as well as HUF stores shortly.
Nike Spring 2010 Classic Cortez Nylon
I can usually do without the Cortez, because there’s something about that obtrusive strip down the toes that makes me upturn my nose, but I dig the nylon, and purple footwear is always a yes.

A few things: I’m not huge on the flat, waxed lace situation — it feels like overkill, I think. And I wish the heel was a little lower, I’m thinking half the height, don’t know why, but I just want a flatter look.
