simko: The first pair of obnoxious sneakers that I ever purchased (accidentally) matched my living room walls in all of their bright green glory. So I suppose it’s only appropriate that my second has turned out to (almost) match my living room rug. Presenting the newest addition to my closet: Reebok’s Freestyle Hi Int Neopolitan. They were the last pair left and they happen to be exactly my size… Clearly it was fate. My mother helped me call them ugly while rolling her eyes pick them out while she was in town. I know, I know… They’re arguably the most hideous high tops on the planet, but I absolutely adore them. They’re only obnoxious if you’ve also got pants that match. Otherwise a good find. I have a love/hate relationship with the Freestyle Hi myself but they’re actually super comfortable.
