More summer reading. I’m a little saddened that I didn’t read as much as I had intended to while I enjoyed my unemployment stint.
From the people at Shameless magazine, comes She’s Shameless: Women Write About Growing Up, Rocking Out and Fighting Back, an anthology edited by Stacey May Fowles and Megan Griffith-Greene featuring non-fiction writing from women sharing their experiences as teens.
The compendium is intended to appeal to “freethinkers, queer youth, young women of colour, punk rockers, feminists, intellectuals, artists, and activists.” and it’s available now from your favourite independent bookseller or online.
It sounds pretty good.

I enjoy rich text evernote checklists, hefeweizen, the colour purple (the actual colour, and not the movie or book), debbie downerism, change purses, and stopping to get coffee even though I'm already mad late for work.
