I miss Canada Day in Ottawa. I’ve spent so many of them walknig up the canal from the Glebe to Parliament Hill or Major’s Hill Park, only to stop at one of the bridges and watch from there.

I never get my shit together enough to go home for the holiday, but it’s really good there, and every Canadian should experience it at least once.

If you’re a fan of fireworks, let it be known, that Quebecers do it best.
