Trying to buy a new pair of running sneakers. It’s a weak attempt to start working out. Hopefully they won’t stay in my closet. Most likely, they will. How ami supposed to pick a pair?!? They’re all identical!
Go to a running store instead of picking out shoes at a sporting goods store like Foot Locker or whatever. They’ll have more time to talk to you and fit you for a pair of shoes, as well as having a better selection of functional, as opposed to just flashy, runners.
That’s not to say that everyone who works at a Nike Town, Foot Locker, et. al is completely inept, but I find the product knowledge side of things is just better at dedicated running shops.
