Adventures in Home Yoga Study
I didn’t relaise how hot my apartment was until I left to hike to the grocery store. And by “hike” I mean I’m just that out of shape, or I’m overly dramatic as it’s no more than three blocks away and there’s basically a path from my apartment to the front doors of Save On Foods.
I was in a half sweat by the time I got home because I went a little crazy in the frozen fruit aisle instead of buying the one thing I went there to buy (Coffeemate in its powderered form, since I’m lactose intolerant and I think the soy milk/coffee combo is beyond disgusting 95% of the time)
I decided against going to the gym in favour of eating 4 slices of pizza from last night, but promised myself to get some yoga practice in.
Even though it was only 26C today, I have a corner unit, thus my apartment is like a greenhouse. I also feel guilty about turning on the A/C unless I’m going to be home for long stretches of time. As a result, my apartment is Bikram-ready for the duration of the summer.
I might have to break down and buy one of those natural fibre mats because I almost fell on my face last time I did a back bend, and half the mat was stuck to my body in the plough pose.
