Hey guys, some white dude just told me that if minorities stopped bringing up oppression so much we could “move on” and everything would be OK.

I’m really glad he enlightened me. I would have gone on thinking that us uppity bitches pointing out systemic disrimination was part of the solution, but now I know I’m part of the problem!

I’m so happy when men explain how the world works to me. It’s a bright and scary world outside of my kitchen, and it always helps to hear a completely objective, neutral perspective. If we all just shut up about oppression, that will definitely change the status quo.
