[simko] Earlier this month, I read an interesting article about Richard Christiansen (of Chandelier Creative) and his brag-worthy apartment at The Bowery Hotel. I not only admired his decision to use the bathtub as an idea lab, but also his collection of velvet furniture, Louis Vuitton trunks and the colorful skateboards that were sprinkled throughout the apartment. As it turns out, the designs on the decks were (allegedly) borrowed from Joe Van Wetering… I designed these skateboards for fun about a year ago. Hoping one day to get them produced, but never thinking I would seriously have the resources to do so. I posted them on Ffffound and my website and forgot about them until today. I received a comment on my Flickr asking where they could buy the deck. I went to the link to the article and noticed a poor quality rip of my designs on actual boards.
