I’ve been searching for another pair of the zx700’s for years now, and I keep coming up empty.
They’re my go to running shoes because they last a really long time, no matter how badly you treat them, and they’re really stable, which is great for someone like me with crazy weak ankles and debatable coordination.
The first pair I got were super steezy, and I originally bought because I have poor impulse control when it comes to shoes in pretty colours, blah blah blah, but I never wore them because someone referred to the colour scheme as “camo-esque” and it totally turned me off.
They were promptly relegated to gym shoe status alongside many other garish pairs of New Balance 574s and Nike Air Max 90’s.
I’m actually ok with the skyline action that crosses over from the midsole to the upper, so I think I’m going to make this happen.
