Unless your friends are school children, chances are very high that it was to attend a reception of some sort and not to view the exhibits. The reality is, the RAM has become a glorified event hall. Why, then, are we taxpayers shelling out $340,000,000 of public money for a new building that caters to an elite few with minimal, if any, proper public consultation?
