I think I’ll add this to my weekend to-do/inhale list.
Beer Batter:
- 7 and 1/2 Tablespoons of Flour
- 1/2 cup of Light Beer of your choice
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
- Pinch of fresh ground Black Pepper
Whisk all ingredients together. It should be a nice thick…but not too thick consistency. Thick enough to coat and stick to whatever it is you’re frying. Done!
This is the only beer batter recipe you’ll need to know. I’ve been frying up pickles, and chili peppers (pictured) with this batter all summer. Fry whatever it is you want in Vegetable oil, and sprinkle with some sea salt when it’s done. I highly recommend frying up some beer battered pickles. Now go on!
